Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan pengaruh variasi agitasi terhadap produksi biogas dari air limbah industri minyak kelapa sawit dan kotoran sapi sebagai substrat dengan menggunakan alat modifikasi digester secara fed batch. Penambahan agitasi pada tangki fermentasi digester pada penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mempercepat kontak antara mikroorganisme dengan substrat sehingga proses berjalan lebih efektif. Penelitian dilakukan secara fed batch yaitu penambahan substrat pada tangki fermentasi sebanyak 1 liter untuk 2 harinya yang berutjuan untuk mendapatkan hasil produksi biogas yang optimum. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kecepatanAgitasi berpengaruh untuk produksi biogas. Produksi biogas optimum terjadi pada kecepatan agitasi 102 rpm setelah waktu fermentasi 30 hari adalah 26,5116 % CH4.
