Abstract
The final report is structured to qualify in order to complete his education, majoring in Accounting Diploma in Polytechnic of Sriwijaya Palembang. The objectivesfinal repot of this Study, is to predict bankruptcy by applying the Altman Z-Score method to telecommunication companies, listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The data used in this study are secondary data published on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the uar 2009-2012. The results of the three telecommunication companies shows that One of them indicated bankrupt for three consecutive years and one company indicated bankrupt for last three years.The average value of the Z-Score PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia Tbk for the last 4 years show the number 3, which is still at the top of> 2.99, and is still considered healthy, PT XL Axiata Tbk, for the last 4 years is not considered healthy cartilage, with the average number the average value of the Z-score of 1.8, while for PT Indosat Tbk for the last 4 years, with a Z-score indicates an average number of 1.28, which means the unhealthy are categorized as being in the range of <1.81, when see the average value of the Z-score telecommunications companies last 4 years the number Z-score indicates the level of unhealthy cartilage. Advice given is, the management company should be able to, fix working capital, cost efficiency in the use of productive assets, so as to generate big sales, and offset by low debt levels, so as not to come back in a matter of financial hardship.
