This research aims to find out designing comic “Me and Celor, The Story of Mie Celor and Me” to promote mie celor. The problems are " How to design a comic about Palembang culinary to promote traditional food in Palembang?”. The method of this report is Research and Development (R&D) Modified method developed by Sukmadinata. The research techniques for collecting the data are interview and documentation in the steps of Literature Review and Field Survey. Based on the findings, the writer found that the comic can be an option for promoting the Palembang Culinary to read with the theme of cultures and give the information and knowledge related to it. The conclusion and suggestion are the designing comic to entertain the reader and also introduce the mie celor as part of culture of Palembang. The writer expects people to know more about culture and preserve the cultural heritage especially in traditional food, It would be better if the government continues to develop the authentic traditional food, and for the English Department students in State Polytechnic of Sriwijaya, should make another story of this Palembang Culinary comic.
