Abstract
The purpose of this report is to make a design of archives system on P.D. Percetakan Sarana that originally use manual system with chronology and numbering into an electronic system based on computer using application of Canofile For Windows. Data collected by writer through observation, interviews, and literature study. According to the data, writer find deficiency in discovering process and searching process of archives, through these data the writer manage it into a problem formulation, to discover and search the archives, employees on P.D. Percetakan Sarana need 3 until 15 minutes. The results of this report, the writer designs an electronic filing system with based on computer using Canofile For Windows which has been structured and easy to use by administrative staff, so in discovering and searching the archives the administrative staff does not require a long time.
