Abstract
PROTOTYPEOF COALBRIQUETTESTOVE (Overview ofThermalAnalysisBased onMethodof PropagationandConduction) Bea Saniaga Nastito, 2014, 51 Pages, 7 Tables, 6 Pictures, 4 Appendixes Absorbtion is a process offluidabsorptionby thegasthroughout theliquidas anabsorbent.The purposeofthis studyistomakeenvironmentallyfriendlybriquettesstoveby applying theconductionsystemwherebriquettestoveis equippedwithan absorbentfunctionforabsorptionprocess, Analyzingthe effect ofconductiveheat transfermediumbrass plateonthethermalefficiencyofthe stovebriquettesproduced. The test parametersin this study ofthe value ofthe thickness of theconductorto the heatdeliveredsuccessfully. The formulation ofthe problemis focusedon the abilitytodissipate heatconductor. The datasweretakento analyze theobtainedoptimumheatconductedthree timesfor eachdifferentconductorthickness, andthe resultsobtained inthefirsttrialusingthe sameamountof fuel, the stovewithout the use ofconductorsobtainedaverage valuesoftemperature714°Cwith an efficiency of6.74%, the second dataonthestoveusing aconductorwitha thickness of0.8mmobtainedan average valueof374°Cwith atemperatureefficiency of3.42%, andthe latest dataonthestoveusing aconductorwitha thickness of1.6mmobtainedaverage valuesof temperatureat340°Cwith anefficiency of 3.08%. From the calculationandanalysis can be concludedthat thethicknesseffect onthermalefficiency. Obtainedthe thicker theconductorthe more heatis lost.
