Abstract

Technology development is proven to make human activity easier in every subject including in academic and industry. By using technology we can make an application of calculation which can make calculation of mathematical model easier. In this case, the development of mathematical model is base on mathematical case in DEA extraction system at polypropylene refrinery. The application is made by java. Java is chosen because java is a programming language which is open source, cohenrently, simple, based on C++ and can be used on any operation system. The simulation process is done for knowing the reliability of the application by using operational data of PT. Pertamina which is compared by manual calculation using same data. The assumption of solvent which all solvent was separated from rafinate and no solvent mix in extract is used on calculation process . Based on simulation process, the application can be implementated on real process in some adjustment based on real process. Keyword : Application, Mathematical Model, Simulation, Java
