Abstract

Produce of rubber from year to year always experiences improvement. Hence the waste of rubber has increases. This ever greater problem because of rubber cannot loose to easily if in letting only. Therefore, required to effort change waste rubber becomes things more useful. One of them is to make liquid fuel throught a catalytic cracking process. Selescted prpcess cracking to used catalyst because catalyst reduced temperature and reaction time. Operating condition takes place at atmospheric pressure with temperature variations ranging from 250oC, 300oC, 350oC, 400oC and 450oC for 1,5 hour. The result showed that the yield percent highest at temperature 450oC as many as 73,43 %. The concluded of this study is the waste crumb rubber factory could be converted into liquid fuel. Keywords : catalytic cracking, liquid fuel, waste crumb rubber
