Abstract
ABSTRACT DESIGN OF GEOMETRIC AND HARD COMPACT OF PAGAR ALAM – TANJUNG SAKTI – BATAS BENGKULU STREET PROVINCE OF SOUTH SUMATERA STA 30+000 – STA 35+250 Pagar Alam – Tanjung Sakti – Batas Bengkulu street is a road that connects the west and cross the middle Sumatera, this road has a very important role in promoting economic growth both locally and nationally. The final report this writing, the author would like to know how the planning and design of geometric and hard compact on Pagar Alam – Tanjung Sakti - Batas Bengkulu street, so that the road will be able to give a sense of security, convenient, and economical way for the user. In the planning design of geometric road, things become a reference in planning include the horizontal alinyemen calculation, vertical alinyemen, hard compact and define what that will be used. From the results of above calculations, so Pagar Alam – Tanjung Sakti – Batas Bengkulu street is a class II A road with the speed of the road plan 40 km/hour, and this road used 29 curves. For surface area hard compact thickness is 10 cm used asphalt concrete, sub base is 25 cm used split class A and base is 46,5 cm used sirtu class A. This road building was carried out within 107 days with a total fund Rp 19.843.992.000,00
