Abstract

Along with the development of the times and technological advances, the more advanced equipment anyway - equipment used in daily life - today. Many tools are created with a variety of applications that aim to be able to save time and effort. Microcontroller is present as one of the control-integrated in responding positively to these conditions. One application is the automatic litter box that works is controlled by the microcontroller ATmega16 AVR programming language Basic compiler (BASCOM AVR) and a remote control. The design of the automatic litter box is intended to facilitate users to open and control. The workings of this automatic litter box using a PIR sensor and sensor LDR. PIR sensor is useful to help us in the litter box lid open automatically without having to use your hands. While the function of LDR sensor on the device that is fully charged when the garbage litter box can not be opened for a while until the litter box back empty and will show a notification via the LCD. To further pamper users of this tool is also equipped with a transmitter and receiver circuits. This circuit serves as a remote control.
