The purpose of this research is to inform the steps of writing video script of Gending Sriwijaya dance as traditional dance of Palembang. This report is used to get the full infromation of Gending Sriwijaya dance by writing video script of Gending Sriwijaya dance as traditional dance of Palembang. The method of this research is Research and Development from Sukmadinata (2005). This final report modified and improved the Research and Development method into three stages: Preliminary Study, Model Development, and Final Product Testing. The problem formulation of this final was formulated to question: How to write a video script of Gending Sriwijaya dance as traditional dance of Palembang. The research instruments used, First preliminary study: literature study, field survey, model draft. Second, the model development consisted of limited testing and wider testing. According to the findings, the writer made a video script of Gending Sriwijaya dance as traditional dance of Palembang. It concluded that the video script can provide readers with information and knowledge about Gending Sriwijaya dance.
