Abstract

The goal of this research is to apply the steps of writing video script of Ayek Pacar as tourism destination in Lahat. This report is used to find complete information about Ayek Pacar by writing video script of Ayek Pacar, Lahat. The methodology of this research is Research and Development from Sukmadinata (2005). This final report modified and developed the Research and Development method into three steps: Preliminary Study, Model Development, and also Final Product Testing. These stages are related to the stages of writing video scripts by Friedmann (2006). In the preliminary study, the steps are literature study, field survey, and model draft. The next stage is the model development which is divided into two tests, limited testing and broad testing. The test involved five experts to review the content, language, and format of the video script. The last stage is the final test, the result of which is a video script. It can be concluded that there are three steps to designing a video script. It is concluded that the video script may give knowledge and information to the readers about Ayek Pacar.
