Abstract

The final report aims at writing a video script of Kampoeng Wisata Yasaman Cindo for domestic tourist to promote the tourism destination in South Sumatera. The writer used Research and Development (R&D) method by Sukmadinata (2005). This method consist of three steps, they are (1) Preliminary Study, (2) Model Development, (3) Final Product testing. The writer collected the data by using literature review and field study (observation and interview). In writing step, the writer arranged the structure of the video script and made it become the first draft which paid attention to four elements when making a good script by Jakacaping (2018). In testing, the draft of the video script was revised by three experts; they revised English, content, and scriptwriting. The English expert revised the sentences into natural style so that it was more understandable. The content expert said that the content was suitable for promoting the destination. The scriptwriter expert mentioned that the framework and structure were already good for a video script. The final draft of video script can be used for video creators to promote Kampoeng Wisata Yasaman Cindo.
