Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang sebuah sistem administrasi penjualan elektronik berbasis Microsoft Access pada PT Mitra Bangun Sriwijaya. Laporan akhir ini ditulis menggunakan beberapa metode pengumpulan data seperti Wawancara, dokumentasi, Pengamatan(observasi) dan studi kepustakaan. Penulis menggunakan metode analisis data kualitatif deskriptif. Analisis kualitatif deskriptif berupa merancang sistem elektronik administrasi penjualan dalam pembuatan Container berbasis Microsoft Access pada PT Mitra Bangun Sriwijaya. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan penulis diketahui bahwa terdapat beberapa kendala seperti sistem administrasi penjualan pada PT Mitra Bangun Sriwijaya masih menggunakan sistem manual/konvensional, pencarian berkas-berkas administrasi membutuhkan waktu yang cukup lama, tidak adanya ruangan khusus untuk penyimpanan berkas-berkas. Selain itu, berkas fisik juga rentan terhadap kerusakan, kehilangan, atau pencurian yang dapat mengganggu operasional bisnis dan menyebabkan kerugian finansial. Rancangan sistem Administrasi penjualan dalam pembuatan Container berbasis Microsoft Access dapat memudahkan pegawai bagian administrasi dalam mengelolah data administrasi penjualan. Penggunaan sistem elektronik berbasis Microsoft Access memberikan keuntungan dalam hal pencarian berkas yang lebih cepat, penghematan tempat penyimpanan dan pencegahan kesalahan penulisan data.
