Abstract

The purpose of this final report is to determine the visitor's perception of the supporting facilities at the Regional Library of South Sumatera. The writer wanted to know how that already gratified to the visitors in South Sumatera Regional Library. Data was gathered through a variety of techniques data collection, as an interview, observation, and the distribution of a questionnaire that was given to 100 respondents contains statements about supporting facilities in South Sumatera Regional Library based on the internal and external factors of perception, including phisiological, attention, interest, unidirectional needs, experiences and memories, mood, size and placement of an object or stimulus, the color of objects, uniqueness and contrast of the stimulus, the intensity and strength of the stimulus, motion or movement. Results indicate that there are some things that still need to attended by the an Library an such as the availability of the libraryan in helping the visitors, internet facility, toilet facility and a facility small mosque, electronic beverage sales facility, library collections, and library visitors, that commonly is a student. Based on the research results, the authors suggest that the Librarian should pay for more attention to those things to be better so that the visitors feel more comfortable.
