Abstract
The purposeofthis final reportistofind out about the function ofpublic relationsatPTIndofoodCBPSuksesMakmurTbkPalembang. This study used a qualitative descriptive analysis, which analysis is onlydescribe and explain a various of information who only be obtained from the research but its still the verbal facts and still in the form of information only. Whichin implementingthismethodthe authorusesa qualitative method approach.This study discussesabout the function ofpublic relationsina company,theproblems orthe constraintswho contained inthese functionsis the lack ofcommunicationmediaandthe absence ofemployeesorspecialized staffwhoserved aspublicrelations staff in the company.The solutionofthese problemscan besolved byPTIndofoodCBPSuksesMakmurTbkPalembangshould recruit a new employeeswhowill be positionedas apublic relations stafftocarry out its functionsandsupport their workin buildingthe image ofthe companyandthe companyalso should adding the mediaor the equipment of communications for effective information disseminationfor all employeesin the company andemployeescan also findalltheinformationthat isdisseminated.
