Abstract
THE INFLUENCE OF LOCAL CITIZENS’ TOURISM AWARENESS TOWARDS SAFETY AND COMFORT TOURISM IN BENTENG KUTO BESAK PLAZA PALEMBANG (Mutiara Ulfa, 2016, 36 Pages, 5 Tables, 3 Charts, 11 Pictures) The problem of this final report is “What are the influences of local citizens’ tourism awareness towards safety and comfort tourism in Benteng Kuto Besak Plaza Palembang?” This report discusses whether the local citizen tourism awareness influences safety and comfort tourism for the visitors of BKB Plaza. The purpose of this research is to know whether the local citizens’ tourism awareness really influences safety and comfort tourism and also to get more knowledge relate to the problem. The writer used qualitative descriptive method in this research and used observation, interview, and questionnaire to collect the data. The result from this research is the local citizens’ tourism awareness influences safety and comfort tourism in Benteng Kuto Besak Plaza Palembang. The influences are related to safety and comfort tourism felt by the visitors during their visit to the Plaza.
