Abstract

The final report entitled "Design Tool Tester Generator Sets with Variation Fuel hydrocarbon", aimed at testing a generator set in accordance with the maximum output of 2000 watts with a variety of fuel hydrocarbon that will be in use in the teaching materials practice workshops, maintenance and repair (M & R ). In general, the generator set is an electrical energy alternative to gasoline and diesel. 4 stroke motors have a principle that is the intake stroke, compression, expansion and exhaust. In the report outlines the testing of generator sets with fuel retail gasoline, premium, petralite and pertamax. Data were taken from the testers generator set includes the time, amperage, voltage and frequency of the data, the purpose of this test was to compare the fuel is more efficient and look for the efficiency of the engine with a maximum of four (4) types of material.
