Abstract

This research aims to know the role of promotion cost in improving overall turnover, sales forecast realization amd promotion costs from 2017-2021 on Edy Roti Prabumulih. This research uses quantitative and qualitative. This resesarch took place in Edy Roti Prabumulih. This research uses the annual data that consists of promotion costs, turnover sales and sales targets from 2012 until 2016. Data collection techniques uses library research and field research. Analysis methods used in this research are qualitative descriptive and quantitative using correlation analysis, the determination coefficient and linier regression analysis, The variables of this research consists of promotion costs (X) as independent variables and turnover of sales (Y) as dependent variables. The result showed that there is the cost of promotion and trending positive significant effect on the turnover sales with strong relationship criteria. The forecast sales realization of Edy Roti Prabumulih on 2017-2021 are increasing followed by the increasing of promotion cost which are Rp 7.455.706,53 on 2017, Rp 8.337.608,70 on 2018, Rp 9.219.510,88 on 2019, Rp 10.101.413,05 on 2020 and Rp 10.983.315,23 on 2021.
