Abstract

The aim of this final report to know how the performance appraisal of employees conducted by PT Garuda Indonesia (Persero) Tbk Palembang branch office. Based on the data and information obtained by interview method, questionnaire, and literature study, from PT Garuda Indonesia (Persero) Tbk., Palembang branch office. PT Garuda Indonesia (Persero) Tbk., Palembang branch office conducts assessment on 2 parts of the employee namely organic and outsourcing in different ways. In the organic section assessment is based on the employee's job characteristic, job target set by company and using numerical system. But for employees outsourcing assessment is done by judging from the work of employees whose time has been determined by the company and not using numerical system. However, from the assessment that has been done, PT Garuda Indonesia (Persero) Tbk., Palembang branch office does not explaining detail the elements of the assessment and the assessment its results are not informed to employees as a whole. So it can cause prejudice from employees who are assessed and can affect the work achieved.
