Abstract

Utilization of the potential of solar energy is currently used equipment commonly called the solar cell. The amount of solar energy potential can be absorbed depending on the area of the cell and the absorption of sunlight. Absorption can be optimized by making solar panels driving control system that moves following the direction of solar motion so that the cells in solar panels will optimally absorb sunlight. The making of this tool is innovated because the use of solar panels only in a static state then made a solar tracking control that combines Arduino, LCD (Liquid Crystal Display) 2x16, LDR (Light Dependent Resistor), and Servo Motor, from measurement with solar module measuring 36cmx24cm then get maximum power on every data retrieval for three days highest at 13:00 corner 1100 7.26 Watt, the comparison of each data obtained with solar panels tracking and not trracking largest 18.19 Watt comparison occurred because the state of solar panels that more optimally absorb the sun when in tracking
