Abstract

To exploit the potential of solar energy so now has been used equipment commonly called photovoltaic or solar cell. The amount of solar energy potential that can be absorbed depends on cell extent and absorption to sunlight. Absorption can be optimized by making solar panels that will move following the direction of the motion of the sun, So the cells in the solar panel will optimally absorb the sunlight. The making of this tool is innovated because usually the use of solar panels only in a state of static then make this solar tracking control that combines Arduino, LCD (Liquid Crystal Display)2x16, LDR (Light Dependent Resistor),And the Servo Motor, from experiments with 36cmx24cm sized solar modules, obtains an average 35.4 watt absorption with an average power consumption of 11.11watt servo shows that the absorption ability of solar panels only changes 26.5% of sunlight and the rest is discarded hot
