Abstract

In the last few years, in general 3g users in Indonesia has been widespread and evenly. Seeing the development of 3g users in Indonesia, the researcher wanted to know the factors that have the most influence on the 3g adoption in Indonesian society by taking samples from the scope in polytechnic of sriwijaya. 3g adoption patterns can be researched based on some existing adoption technology models. Researchers chose TAM as the basis of the research hypothesis.Researchers develop the TAM method because it adapts to variables or models that match the problems that will be know. First variable perceived usefulness and the second perceived ease of use is the input and ends in the output which means the results of the use of the process of decision and user behavior in the adoption of mobile devices.The authors compiled a questionnaire about 3g user analysis based on modified TAM method, then distributed to the sample at polytechnic of sriwijaya.
