Analysis Comparasion of Capital Cost on PT Indofood Sukses Makmur Tbk and PT HM Sampoerna Tbk Period 2011-2-13 Novelia Dwi Fatmawati 2014, (xiii + 73 pages) Email : noveliafatma@yahoo.com The final report was made to compare the cost of capital between the two companies, namely PT Indofood Sukses Makmur Tbk and PT Hanjaya Mandala Sampoerna Tbk Period 2011-2-13. Capital cost analysis was conducted to determine the minimum rate of return implied by the owners of the company's long-term funds. Thus, if the erroneous determination of capital costs, the financial decisions that are made will also be wrong. From the analysis and discussion, the authors take a conclusion that the comparative analysis of the cost of capital committed by the author, in the period 2011-2-13 PT Indofood Sukses Makmur Tbk obtain the overall cost of capital (WACC) of 15,98%, 11,47%, and 9,27%, while for PT Hanjaya Mandala Sampoerna Tbk obtain WACC of 7,39%, 4,36, and 11,76 25. From the results of this calculation, which has the capability in terms of providing minimum rate of return as expected by the investor, PT Hanjaya Mandala Sampoerna Tbk bear the cost of capital is smaller than PT Indofood Sukses Makmur Tbk. Analysis of the cost of capital is intended for the management of the company, to pay more attention to the composition of its capital structure. The company is expected to reduce debt from outsiders so that it should bear the cost of debt capital does not become larger. This analysis is also intended for investors to be more careful in investing funds or long-term investment in a company.
