This final report investigates the process of employees recruitment and selection in PT Dayamitra Telekomunikasi (Mitratel) Palembang Branch. Recruitment of employee is a process to recruit,search, and draws the attention of the applicants to be employeed by organization or company. This data obtained from questionnaire by 28 respondents and direct interview with Manager and employee. Then the final report use descriptive analysis. The writer discover that the process of employees recruitment were not suitable with standard of recruitment and selection. They also did not use good recruitment and selection method it is process yet. there are 9 stages in screening process, application letter screening, application from field, health test, direct interview with management, and decide whether they accepted or rejected. At PT MITRATEL Palembang Branch selection are Administration Selection, Test health, Interview, Decision Acceptance, Employment Contract. The writer would like to use this opportunity to suggest PT MITRATEL Palembang Branch to Selections are made should not only use but also use the five stages of psychological tests include intelligence tests that test the overall intellect, personality tests that must be used to working together and to be honest, aptitude tests that measure the ability of IQ tests that measure antutisme interest in doing and job duties. Given the psychological test can measure the level of intelligence of the applicants, and see the work motivation, talent, emotional of prospective employees. Keyword: Recruitment and selection
