Abstract
Final report discusses about the process of recruitment and selection of employees the office the PT Pelabuhan Indonesia II (Persero) Cabang Palembang. The writer would like to know how the process of recruitment and selection of employees the office at PT Pelabuhan Indonesia II (Persero) Cabang Palembang. In this final report the writer got data by doing the research like interviews and questionnaires with distributed to employees the office at PT Pelabuhan Indonesia II (Persero) Cabang Palembang, library research also population and sample. In this research, the population of office staff at PT Pelabuhan Indonesia II (Persero) Cabang Palembang is amount 98 people. The writer uses the saturated sample where all of the member of population is used as sample. The Data were analyzed using qualitative and quantitative methods. From the results final report, PT Pelabuhan Indonesia II (Persero) Cabang Palembang held the recuitment process or acceptance of employees from some sources like internal source and external source through friend or family, through educational institutions, through advertising. PT Pelabuhan Indonesia II (Persero) Cabang Palembang also using the method of close and open through neswspaper print and electronic media. But, in recruiting of employees at PT Pelabuhan Indonesia II (Persero) Cabang Palembang there is the strong of family. Can see from respondent's employees answer eksternal source or family whose parents work at PT Pelabuhan Indonesia II (Persero) Cabang Palembang approximately 68% of employees are hired. In terms of selection is also not completely good as there are employees who do not follow some test selection. questionnaire regard the process of recruitment and selection of employees of the office held by PT Pelabuhan Indonesia II Persero) Cabang Palembang.
