Abstract
The research entitled “The Analysis of Intristic Element in Before that Night Novella by Laurent Barnholt”. The content this document is written about Intrinsic Element of Before that Night Novella. The reason why the writer chooses this Novella, because the novella has a complex plot, has a kind characters which is efficient and has diverse of setting in the story, and the writer chooses Intrinsic Elements because by describing and analyzing the Intrinsic Elements. The writer could improve understanding of literary work. Before that Night Novella is a Romance Novella by Laurent Barnholt. The story tells about love story between two peoples who has a different characters. Within this research, the writer is trying to find the 7 Intrinsic Element of Before that Night Novella such as theme,plot, characters and characterization, settings, language style, view point and message. This research is done by using qualitative descriptive research. The writer using some books and many other sources as references, that the writer think related to the subject matter that is being analyzed. The story described complete and detail. Novel has two elements consist in every single of them; extrinsic elements and intrinsic elements. This report analyzed the intrinsic elements in Before that Night Novella by Laurent Barnholt. The intrinsic elements of the novel are the elements which directly participate in building a story.
