Abstract
ix ABSTRACT PT Sinar Sosro is a company ready to drink tea in the bottles the first in Indonesia and in the world. The purpose of this final report is to know the role of Health and Safety in expedition work employees activities at PT Sinar Sosro Factory Palembang and constraint faced by PT Sinar Sosro Factory Palembang in implementing Occupational Health and Safety. The variables used in this research is the Health & Safety, and the fluently Employee Activities at PT Sinar Sosro Factory Palembang. As for the datas collection methods used in this research are using field research and library research. Field research such as questionnaires and interviews, while the library research as searching for datas by studying books or journals from the internet relating to the issues being discussed by researchers. Subsequently, the data analyzed by using the questionnaire percentage formula, so that obtainable the factors that influence the health and safety such as accident prevention factor is equal to 88.98% as a very good, nutrition factor for employees is equal to 82.04% as a very good. Work environment factors (light, temperature, noise, layout workplace and equipment, radiation) that is equal to 98.44% as a very good, the fluently factor activity employee that is equal to 86.74% as a very good. The author suggested to PT Sinar Sosro Factory Palembang to more increase awareness of the importance of health and safety so that harmonious working relationship among employees is getting better and the company will be not too much considering the decision to provide personal protective equipment or safety for all employees according with the type of work. Because basically maintenance employees is long-term investments that must be made by the company in order to improve the productivity of the company
