Abstract
This study aims to see how the promotion strategy in increasing the number of consumers at the Bakso Selera Baru Palembang. This research uses a descriptive quanlitative approach. Data collection uses field studies, literature studies and interviews. The results showed that the effectiveness of the promotional strategy used by the Bakso Selera Baru Palembang had an effect on increasing the number of consumers. The promotion strategy used is advertising, publicity and sales promotion. The most influential promotional tool in increasing the number of consumers is publicity using social media. With the existence of social media, the Bakso Selera Baru Business can like its products quickly at an affordableg cost. With the number of social media users who are increasing every day, everyone can easily exchange information. By using the many benefits of social media, Bakso Selera Baru Businesses can easily reach their intended consumers. With social media, consumers can easily see the products being sold and other interesting information about the Bakso Selera Baru Palembang.
