(Arga Rizki Putri, 2020: 31 pages) This final report discusses about the designing a storybook of Putri Jelitani to preserve the cultures of Ogan Komering Ilir Region. The purpose of this research is to find out the steps in designing a story book entitled Putri Jeliani in order to preserve the story as one of cultures from Ogan Komering Ilir. The writer used Research and Development method modified from Sukmadinata (2008) consist of: (1) Preliminary Study; (2) Model Development; and (3) Final Testing. The modification was conducted due to the limitation of fund and time. This report using purposive sampling, there were two experts in limited testing and five participants in wider testing participated in this research. The results revealed that the revisions were focused on font, background of the text and cover. It was suggested to add more illustrations in the story book to have more imagination of the real situation. The data and framework were prepared in designing the storybook. Therefore, the data were collected from the interviews. The writer prepared some questions about good storybook quality. The design was created by the writer and supported by some expert’s suggestion to be printed as the final product.
