The goal of this research is to applythe steps of writing picture storybook ”The Glory of Sriwijaya Kingdom”. This report is used to find complete information about Sriwijaya Kingdomby writing the picture storybook. The methodology of this research is Research and Development from Sukmadinata (2015). This final report modified and developed the Research and Development method into three steps: Preliminary Study, Model Development, and also Final Product Testing. The research instruments used, first Preliminary Study: literature study, field survey, first draft. Second, model development consisted of limited testing and wider testing, and last is final testing. Based on the finding, the writer made a picture storybook “The Glory of Sriwijya Kingdom”.The picture design and the script were created by the writer with some corrections and suggestions from the experts. It is concluded that the picture storybook may give knowledge and information to the readers about Sriwijaya Kingdom.
