Abstract
The title of this final report is Writing a Script and a Subtitle for a Promotional Video of Danau Aur in Musi Rawas Regency. The report discusses how to write a script and a subtitle which the product implemented in a promotional video. The writer used Research and Development Method modification developed by Sukmadinata (2015). The writer collected the data by giving unstructured interviews and also collected the data by conducting the observations at Danau Aur destination in Musi Rawas Regency. There were 13 participants as the experts of their fields participated in the interviews. They were classified into 4 expert categories: content, English, Bahasa Indonesia, and script components. The results revealed that in the content of the script was still needed to explore more public facilities in that place. In English language was needed to be revised in grammar, vocabularies, and diction while in Bahasa Indonesia the revision was only in punctuation. Furthermore, the script experts suggested to use language movie in order to make the viewers to understand the meaning more easily and comprehensively. However, it was suggested to upgrade the capacity of public facilities in Danau Aur so that the visitors will be more convenience.
