Abstract

Advances in technology have entered many fields, one of which included in the field of transportation and parking. Automated parking systems in modern world it is necessary with the aim of effectiveness and efficiency. Information display system at this parking area is one alternative that can be applied to address the parking problems that exist today. This tool used ATmega16 microcontroller as the control center and LDR sensors to detect the presence or absence of an empty parking area and will be displayed to the LCD. Infrared sensor will inform the DC motor to open and close the portal parking and the motor movement is restricted by the Limit Switch. The design of the program using a software Code Vision AVR that uses a C language as a programming language. At the time of entering the car and detected by an infrared sensor, parking structures simultaneously be printed so that the car park can fill in the appropriate local printed on the receipt. This tool can function properly when needed enough light, not too dark or bright that LDR can work according to its function.
