Abstract
This final report is aimed to write a novella entitled A Reason for Being Life to introduce tourism attractions in Palembang. The purpose of this final report is to find out how to write a novella entitled “A reason for Being Life” to introduce tourism attractions in Palembang. This study is expected to provide some important outputs such as information about the process of writing a novella as well as a product of novella. In this final report the writer used research and development method by Sukmadinata. The writer collected the data by documentary studies and direct observation in tourist attraction as a reference for writing a novella and as to get information. The result shows the novella can be used as an alternative way to introduce tourism attractions in Palembang. The writer expect that the novella could be a good medium to introduce tourism attractions in Palembang
