Abstract
Mayjen Satibi Darwis – Transmigrasi Rambutan Road Palembang City, South Sumatera Province is a one of infrastructure of land transportation that its existence is necessary for transport smoothly and economic growth in Palembang City. In the writing of this Final Report, the authors wanted to know how good to planning geometric design and flexible pavement thickness on Mayjen Satibi Darwis – Transmigrasi Rambutan Road Palembang City, South Sumatera Province, so the path to be traversed can provide a sense of security, convenient for road users at an economical cost. In the geometric planning of the highway plan, there are things that the reference in the plan include the calculation of horizontal alignment, vertical alignment, and to determine what to use pavement. From the above calculation calculation, Mayjen Satibi Darwis – Transmigrasi Rambutan Road Palembang City, South Sumatera Province is an collector road with a class II with speed planning 60 km/h, and on the street corners using 6 pieces. Layer of the road surface using Laston with 10 cm thick, layer of crushed stone foundation using class A with a 25 cm thick, while the bottom layer using a gravel foundation class B with 58 cm thick.
