Abstract
Road construction is a very important rewuirement as the main supporter of economis activity both at central and regional levels. One is the area of reed Gumawang – Kurungan Nyawa because these two areas are potensial areas for agribusiness and argo-industries, in the making off thesis, the writer wants to know how good planning inthe the planning and design of geometric rigid pavement thickness on road Gumawang – Kurungan Nyawa STA 0+000 – STA 8+241, so the path to be traversed can provide safety, comfort, and economical for road users. In the geometric design of highway planning, things are reference in planning include the calculation of horizontal alignment, vertical alingment, and define what to use pavement. From the result of the calculations above, the road Gumawang – Kurungan Nyawa is a road with speed class II A street plan of 60 km/h, an in this way using 15 pieces including 2 corners spiral-spiral, 2 ful circle, dan 3 spiral-circle-spiral., For rigid pavement using pavement with quality of K-350 and 22 cm thick, while the for quality concrete floor work using the K-175 with a thickness of 10 cm and subbase layer using the aggregate class B with a thick layer of 15 cm, construction of roads is carried out within 218 working days with a total fund of Rp 52.946.000.000 (Fifty Two Billion Nine Hundred Forty Six Million Rupiahs).
