Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has led to financial challenges for property sector enterprises, particularly real estate firms. This research uses quantitative methods to analyze the state of financial distress in firms listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for 2017-2022. The study uses corporate reports from the Indonesia Stock Exchange and employs logistic regression analysis using IBM SPSS version 23 software. Results show that financial hardship is significantly impacted by liquidity, profitability, and financial leverage. The model has an R Square and Adjusted R Square of 1,000, indicating a complete match to the data. Future research should use all companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange to increase the research population. To accurately represent real-world situations, future studies should extend their duration and use characteristics related to financial difficulty.
