Abstract

On study the slip ring motors with a capacity of 0.8 kW with delta circuit. Results of the study without the burden of having the value of starting current is 3,27A with prisoners is 67,27Ω and rotation of rotor is 1440rpm at the position selector 1, and an increase in the rotor rotation selector position 7 becomes 1486rpm. Then the motor is 1nm torque load on selector 1 has a starting current is 3,39A with prisoners is 64,89Ω and rotation of rotor is 1353rpm. However, the position of selector 7, the flow start to increase to 3,42A with prisoners decreased to 64,32Ω and rotation of rotor increased to 1469rpm. Different when the motor is loaded torque 5nm, the selector position 1 starting current increased to 5,46A with prisoners decreased to 40,29Ω and rotation slowed to 882rpm. Then in the position selector 7, the starting current increased to 5,58A with resistance value decreased to 39,42Ω and rotation of rotor is 1393rpm. The influence of R starting who could set the rotation of the rotor of the low current nominal at position 1 towards rounds at position 7, with a high starting current which have characteristics different and keep control during the operation of the motor.
