Abstract

The increases of criminality especially in the money thief affect to the invention of safe-deposit box security device that is capable to make a security system of safe –deposit box more effective. The purpose of this final project is to improve the security level in order to increase the security system that making it easier for the owner of a safe deposit box in monitoring the condition of the safe deposit box door remotely. The tool consists of four main parts a series of micro-controllers Atmega8535, keypad to enter a password which serves as access to open the safe deposit box door, buzzer as alarm and mobile phones as media reports via SMS. The workings of these safe deposit box safety device by entering a password code using the keypad to unlock safes deposit box and then microcontroller will determine whether the password is entered correctly or incorrectly. The security system was successfully constructed with safe working principles of safety lock. It can be opened by entering the correct password. If the person who wants to open the safe-deposit box and do not know the password correctly to open the safe deposit box, the safe deposit box system will tone the alarm buzzer and send SMS warning to the owner’s phone that has been set in microcontroller.
