Abstract

3 AXIS MAGNETOMETER HMC5883L COMPASS SENSOR APPLICATIONS IN PROTOTYPE BOAT ROBOT GARBAGE COLLECTOR BASED – MICROCONTROLLER FEBRIYANSYAH Today, the development of technology has spread widely throughout the world in accordance with their respective functions. For any field, the development of technology always provide the best solution for helping the human activities that are difficult to reach the man themself. Similarly, in the field of robotics, the robot uses in the manufacture exact expected to help human activities or jobs that are difficult to reach by the human condition themself. Example the Prototype Boat Robot Garbage collector, Prototype Boat Robot is designed as possible in order to form the body Boat or ship that given net to accommodate trash and litter boxes that have been netted. This tool uses a compass sensor 3 Axis Magnetometer HMC5883L that serves to navigate. The compass sensor will read the Earth's magnetic field that will indicate the appropriate direction. The compass sensor connected to pin SDA (Serial Data) and SCL (Serial Clock) on the microcontroller to digital interface data reception. The data is sent to the microcontroller which then will be processed for output servo motors and DC motors. 3 Axis Magnetometer HMC5883L compass sensor using I2C digital interface (Inter- Integrated Circuit) with the addressing registers in the data readout.
