Abstract

In the current of era globalization has been progressing very rapidly. This development is accompanied and supported by the development of technology that was instrumental in the progress in every field. Particularly in the field of electronics and telecommunications. Many utilization of technological advances that are helpful in easing the human works, especially in the field of processing industries in the form of a fruit plantation crop with small size. The automatic coffee color grouping is made by using a color sensor as a detector and microcontroller as the central control and decision makers. Automation of grouping pieces by type color using the color sensor (sensor TCS3200) as a reader, when a fruit untouched of the color sensor, the sensor will automatically get a database that will be sent to the microcontroller ATMega32. Fruit will move to follow the course of the conveyor until the container has been fitted with servo motors. The servo motor will move the pieces into the container that matches the color of the coffee fruit based program that has been created. Then the fruit will enter into an appropriate container with a given sensor. On each container there is a weight sensor or load cell, so that can know the total weight of the fruit in each container will be displayed in the LCD without having to calculate it manually.
