Abstract

The purpose of making the wall follower vacuum cleaner robot is able to design a system of robotic vacuum cleaner that is able to move in autonomous as well as navigate and apply fuzzy logic when the robot finds a obstacle. The wall follower vacuum cleaner robot is working to help people in the dusting, conserve electricity because the robot using the battery, and does not take the time and effort because the robot moves itself around the room. Wall follower robot vacuum cleaner uses a microcontroller based ATMega8535 ping ultrasonic sensor and fuzzy logic algorithm to detect an obstacle. If found the obstacle robot will turn to the right and keep walking around the room up to the middle of the room and will stop automatically with the speed setting proportionally based obstacle detection distance when discovered through the application of fuzzy logic algorithms.
