Abstract

This final project aims to develop copywriting for an English informational booklet about the stores that sell Snakehead Fish Pempek in Kampung Pempek 26 Ilir Palembang. This study used the Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE model, which includes Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that there was no English booklet that provided complete information about Snakehead Fish Pempek and the stores in Kampung Pempek 26 Ilir. Therefore, the writer developed an English informational booklet using clear and interesting copywriting with an attractive design. The booklet contains information about Kampung Pempek 26 Ilir, the stores, Snakehead Fish Pempek, its ingredients, production process, benefits, and unique characteristics. The booklet was validated by content and design experts, and the results showed that it is suitable to be used as an informational medium. It is expected that this booklet can help local and international visitors learn more about Snakehead Fish Pempek and the stores at Kampung Pempek 26 Ilir Palembang.
