Abstract

ABSTRACT APPLICATION OF MICROCONTROLLER ATMEGA 16 WITH LOAD CELL ON THE 3 FLOOR LIFT (2015, xv + 63pages + bibliography,41pictures, 5tables, attachment) GANDHI SUMANTRI ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT STUDY PROGRAM OF ELECTRONICAL ENGINEERING STATE POLYTECHNIC OF SRIWIJAYA Load cell is a transducer that functions as a detector of the weight of an object. Load cell usually found on the scales to determine the weight of an object value. In the elevator load cell is used as a determinant of cargo capacity in the room so that the motor of the elevator lift to function properly. On the third floor elevator prototype uses a microcontroller 16 with a load cell ATMega as originally input. Load cell used has a maximum load capacity of 1 kg. The workings of this system is to use artificial load that is inserted into a space elevator, the weight value will be displayed to the LCD, the heavier the object, the load values greater value on the LCD. If the weight of the object exceeds the capacity of load cell value determined ATMega microcontroller 16 will instruct the relay to give input to the PLC to dismiss the motor as well as a warning buzzer rang.
