Abstract

Design taximeter Using Magnetic Speed Sensor and SMS Gateway On Motorcycles (2016 : xii + pages + Bibliografi + Attachment) Kresna Dewa Bayu 061330700568 Computer Engineering Polytechnic of Sriwijaya The increasing development of the times, the increasing globalization also lifestyle taximeter is a tool to measure the cost or the amount of money that must be paid by passengers when driving by taxi. The calculation is based on the mileage and time of use. A microcontroller is a digital electronic device that has inputs and outputs as well as control with a program that can be written and erased in a special way. Simply put, how the microcontroller is actually only read and write data. The outcome of this thesis is a tool designed argometer on motorcycles microcontroller based ATM8535, which is a system similar to the meter system in the cab. In the form there will be an LCD display that will show you how the price will be paid by the motorcycle taxi. Wavecom modem and added to the output as a receipt of payment by SMS Gateway. Reference point used in the meter system, namely calculation of wheel rotation speed magnetic sensor and microcontroller programming in ATM8535.
