Abstract
Biobriquette is one of the alternative energy sources that are environmentally friendly. In the manufacture of Biobriquette need for a tool that can generate biobriket in large quantities and quickly, then printing a given pressure can be constant and produce biobriquette in the form of uniform, so as to facilitate the production biobriquette. In this study used raw material in the form of a mixture of coal and rice husk (90:10), (80:20) and (70:30). Then a given printing pressure of 300 psi, 350 psi, and 400 psi. To view the results of the performance of the tool to analyze the quality of the resulting biobriquette. The parameters observed biobriquette analysis texture analysis and proximate analysis. Besides analyzing the thermal characteristics of the resulting product biobriquette. Based on the analysis showed that biobriquette with printing that is too high will affect ignition briquettes. Ignition faster on biobriquette pressure of 300 psi with the raw material composition of 90:10. The calorific value of owned 5331.8 cal / g. Then the time it takes to boil 1 liter of water that is 6-9 minutes.
