Abstract
The Final Report is the geometric design and construction of the Sembawa – Sukajadi road South Sumatera Province. This road has an important role in promoting economic growth either. In writing this final report, the authors wanted to know how the methods of planning and bold geometric pavement both on the Sembawa – Sukajadi South Sumatera Province, so as to give a sense of security, convenient, and economical for road users. In planning this road planning design writer based class of existing roads, the classification level of local roads, traffic loads, soil data as a supporter, and a contour map data area. From the result of calculations, then the Sembawa – Sukajadi South Sumatera Province a second class road with a design speed of 60 km/h, and using 4 pieces bend consists of corner 1 Full Circle, 2 Spiral Circle Spiral, and 1 Spiral Spiral. With thick surface layer AC-WC with 5 cm thick, AC-BC with 7 cm thick, AC-Base with 9 cm thick, to base course on using class A broken stone with 15 cm thick, and subbase using the class B broken stone 15 cm thick. Based on calculations obtained budget plan Rp. 47.969.863.000,00 (Forty Seven Billion Nine Hundred Sixty Nine Million Eight Hundred Sixty Three Thousand) and time of execution of 127 working days.
