Abstract

The road construction is a very important requirement as the main supporter of economic activity in both the central and regional levels. One of them is JalanNgob -Ngob because there are so many economy activities. To support economic activity, so it needed a highway that is safe, convenient and economical as infrastructure and therefore we need to plan the geometric design of highways, things become a reference in planning includes the calculation of horizontal alignment, vertical alignment, and define pavement what will used. In making this final assignment, the writer wanted to know how good planning in planning the design of geometric and pavement thickness at JalanNgob -Ngob STA 5 + 350-10 + 173, so that the road to be traversed to provide safety, comfort, and economical for road users and the results of calculations of this thesis, the road Betung - Sungai Lilin is the class II A to the design speed road 60 km / h, this path using 5 pieces bend them 2 Spiral - Spiral, 2 Full Circle and 1 Spiral Spiral Circle. Lining the road surface using a rigid pavement with a thick layer of 17 cm, while the base layer down using Aggregate Class B with a thick layer of 15 cm. There are some retaining wall used in certain STA because of the high slope excavation and embankment. The construction of this road be held within 196 days of work with a total fund of Rp 51,737,382,223 (fifty-one billion seven hundred and thirty-seven million three hundred eighty two thousand two hundred and twenty-three rupiah) with a construction period 196 working days.
