Abstract
Digester is an important equipment as producing biogas to be used as electrical energy. This design is intended to support government policies to reduce fossil fuel consumption by utilizing the biogas derived from the fermentation of cow manure as fuel. Digster mode used is fixed dome digester type. This study shows that the size of the digester and operating techniques during the anaerobic digestion process is able to give effect to productivity and to know the efficiency of biogas digester type fixed dome biogas production then do the calculations, counting the digester efficiency, and analyzing the composition of biogas. The results show that the performance fixed dome digester type capable of producing biogas reaches 1,718 m3 with the highest methane content of 53.22%, the efficiency of the digester reached 80.7366 % and 23.2858 percent yield of 7.25 Kg of cow manure. It accordance with the requirements for generator fuel to produce a power source with a capacity of 0.3 kW / day for 1 hour.
