Abstract
The Compressive strength of concrete identify the quality of a structure. Improving the quality of the concrete / concrete compressive strength is only accompanied by a small increase of flexural strength. The improved the quality of the concrete is still being conducted. One of them is reinforcing concrete with steel fibers . The addition of steel fibers in concrete has a purpose debone concrete with fiber uniformly with random orientation . The fiber used is bendrat galvanized wire size of 4 cm A research outcomes based on a set of laboratory experimental works done to numbers of cube specimens size 15 cm x 15 cm x 15 cm and beam concrete specimens size of 60 cm x 15 cm x 15 cm loaded under direct shear force by a universal compression machine. The specimens were constructed from K-300 AW-fiber concrete, using 0%, 1%, 3%, 5%, 7% and 9% percentage of fibre content to the weight of cement proportion. The result from this research shows that by adding 1% of AW-fibre produced a optimum compressive strength rise of 17.75 % with a value of 383 Kg / cm2 and flexural strength of 18.65 % with a value of 67.43 Kg / cm2 .
