Abstract
The efficiency of the generator is a comparison between power input and power output. Pin was strongly influenced by the size of the load current is being consumed, while the output power is the power used at the power plant. The author would like to know how big influence on the efficiency of the generator load. Based on the results of the discussion about the efficiency of the generator unit 1 power plant at PT. Bukit Asam (Persero) Tbk Tanjung Enim - South Sumatra, efficiencies gained from the calculation based on the ratio of power output to power input from the date of March 24, 2016 until March 30, 2016 here shows that the average - average efficiency per day on these generators ranged from 84.745%. See from the chart, generator efficiency greatly influenced by the load in use. If the greater the power output or power is used, the level of efficiency of the generator will be even greater.
